The ground was covered in grime , and a foul smell of old alcohol and filthy restrooms filled the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , decay and sour vomit . The counter , which should be the focal point of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The toilet was in even worse condition — spilling over , with a shattered handle and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was feces.
It wasn’t just a one-off bad night either. From reading other reviews and speaking with locals , it seems that the standard of sanitation (or lack thereof) at this bar is a long-standing issue .
